Come hear Zelenka’s brilliant Missa Omnium Sanctorum, a colourful and energetic work full of virtuosic moments, accompanied by mixed choir, soloists, and orchestra. Jan Dismas Zelenka, (1679-1745), a Czech baroque composer, has been referred to as the “Catholic Bach.”

Schola Cantorum is an auditioned ensemble of staff, faculty, alumni/ae, students, and friends of the University of St. Michael’s College. Drawing from the rich treasure trove of the Church’s song, they perform three concerts a year for significant feasts and seasons in the liturgical calendar. The choir is dedicated to the aim of spiritual enrichment of the university community through the transformative beauty of sacred music.
